Hull Kingston Rowing Club’s oldest member, Bob Jones, turned 80 years old on 20th April. Bob is an active member of the club and regularly attends and wins races alongside his double sculls partner, Dave. To mark the day, Dave commissioned a cake made by our own club captain, Charlotte, which was presented to Bob at our water session this Saturday.  Following a very productive session on the water, led by Bob, HKCR members proceeded into the boathouse and were served up some very large slices (thanks Bob). The session and the cake was enjoyed by all. Bob is an inspiration to us all and proves no matter your age, you’re never to old to give it a go and keep achieving.
